Shanghai seems a million times larger than NYC. I think it is growing on me.

EDIT: Look at "Jin mao Tower". It stands like a baby in front of those giants!

To think even Jin Mao's taller than the old WTC puts things in perspective.

Do you personally like to deem the spire into the actual height, irrespective of CTBUH's decision? I would rather make-do with the figure, 417 meters, than to assume the spire and get on "pins and needles", in my heart, every now and then.

It's one of few buildings which carries a spire the right way. It looks completely natural.

Jin Mao's roof height is 1257 feet, so it's smaller. So the old and the new WTC are a good 100 feet taller.
And yes, great shot of Shanghai.

The tip top of Jin Mao's spire is a few inches taller than the roof of the old WTC. So the old WTC was taller than Jin Mao. But its still a good measure to compare heights.

The old WTC's roof had the same height as SWFCs observation deck no? Which is taller than Jim Mao. Correct me please.

No way! The old WTC's roof was at 417 meters, whereas SWFC's highest OD is at 472 meters.
Let's not derail the thread anymore. I guess I started it off and let me end this now.

1WTC- 3 metres above roof (sorry, couldn't find one with 2WTC).

But the tower will continue to grow for a while. Looking forward to the construction of the crown.
