Shanghai has a beautiful skyline and beautiful skyscrapers but the air quality looks really bad. I mean, most of the pics look so hazy, like if there would be fog. That's the reason why I would never want to live in a big city. Clean air is important for healthy life

London is big (in fact it has got a city in it) and most of the time, the air is clean.

When this tower is completed, we all can do that in person.

Wow even there bridges are unique,, the photo on the pg before, from the crane, puts the whole damn thing in perspective.. SCARY tall. The guy taking the photo, probably would get fired, had his bosses known he was "fooling" around while working so high. But I thank him, that is 1 in a million view.

While a HDR night picture look more or less acceptable... those red roofs really ruin the skyline.

Sounds like the USA's great Northwest, Seattle, Portland and so on. What I don't get is every year I watch the "open" British Open, we say here in the states, why is it so damn cold in the middle of July in London? There about on the same latitude as some of our Northern States, yet 60 degrees when we have 90 in Upper Michigan? Back to the Beast at hand,,Nice photos NYRulz, I see you are now contributing beautifully to this forum as well the NY pics you Post.. Awesome Job NYRulz!

I'm confirmed for a trip to Shanghai during the month of August. Hopefully I can deliver more quality pictures here!

Awesome, R U leaving from LA or Hong Kong? How far of a trip is it from HK, and do U have an option other than flying, like a subway or train? I have to imagine they have some kind of rail that runs between a lot of the major cities in the Far East?

My first ever thought when I saw SWFC was exactly this it's just a matter of time before this happens. Its just too perfect! But then again, I would argue the hole in the Riyadh building is quite nice too. A very underrated building that one..

I will be leaving from LAX to HKG on Cathay Pacific, and then fly straight to Shanghai (PVG).

Yes, there is a rail service that runs from Hong Kong to Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangdong. Here's more info on that

Guys! Another video-ad of Shanghai tower, that will give you a fair idea of how it will expose itself on the skyline, plus you can see a good bit of interior make-ups... Have a nice time...
