This looks pretty good. Shanghai usually has interesting projects.

I can't wait for the groundbreaking in December. I love the twisting curving design. But I think it's too tall. Jin Mao is going to seem so short next to its big sisters. SWFC has a lot of girth to it, but even it will be dwarfed by SC.

I just think they went a little overboard height wise.

And can a mod please change the thread title... 632m is 2,074ft. It's starting to bug me as well!

unbelievable how the tri towers will be so close to each other; literally one street away from al each other. maximum waiting time of 3 months then.

unfortunately it couldn't be finished by 2010 World Expo. Shanghai has never had a complete skyline where all major buildings are completed. Can't wait to see it start growing.

Dubai´s so called "tallest block" will have minimum 11 supertalls close to each other and one 600m+ tower the "Tameer tower" about 400m apart. so 12 supertalls in a relative small area. Plus 4,5km away there will be a 1km+ tower surrounded by 20 90+ storey towers (what earlier articles mentioned). Now THAT is what i call WOW!

Dubai and Shanghai are hardly competitors, so quit the dick measuring.

Yep, lets do Shanghai Center here, and not compare everything to Dubai as it is better!

Btw, is there really no good high resolution renderings (1000x1000+) of the design yet?

Of course its an old design, that render looks to be about 850 metres in height.
