Kinda amazing when you consider that the buildings in the foreground are actually quite big themselves. They would be towering landmarks if placed in most other cities in the world. But here, they are just overshadowed. It's hard to grasp the size of Shanghai Tower without looking at the easier-to-measure buildings it towers over.

I would say that there are only a handful of cities in the world where 300 meter buildings can be made to look average sized,

Some of those last pics are very interesting. If you look at the top of the concrete core, through the openings for doorways, you can see there is nothing on the top of the concrete at all - so any new pics from the top, from the crane operators will look amazing if they show the core from up there.

look at the last pic, to me it looks it's just at Jin Maos roof which is below 400m.

and looking on a diagram makes it even more clear. should be at arround 380m now.
