Thats quite interesting, but i doubt that Jin Mao for example is sinking at all, (or maybe it really is, have anybody know something aobut that? )

Ok, I tried to simulate the two holes' respective sizes:

I inferred the SWFC hole's position and size from the image linked below (by James Foong):
http://img358.imageshack.us/img358/4...rogress2vf.jpg
And I tentatively made the same for SC based on the pic by Kix111 - harder in this case since just half of the plot is visible.

P.s. I marked the inner hole for the SWFC, yet the circle on the SC's plot that I tried to replicate is pretty surely not the inner rim, but just the outline of the external "frame".

Still, both towers have about the same podium, maybe SC podium will go much deeper than SWFC.

Even the main towers have around the same diameter, but SC will have the sky gardens and the glass wall will increase the total width.

SC wouldnt be so slim, i think, it should be at least as fat as SWFC, or it will look pretty bad with its height

I sad the main part of the building (the concrete structure) will be as "fat" as SWFC, but the skygardens and the glass wall, will add 10-20m.
