According to the animation, looks like roughly, 30 meters or a hundred or so feet left, still quite a bit more height to go!

According to Forum's numbers it's officially a Mega Now..

It's weird, i always have a feeling it is more than 100m taller than SWFC looking at it from Bund, Lujiazui, or from SWFC itself. Maybe it's just me : /

That first picture is amazing. Probably the best angle we've seen this tower from. I hope we get another shot of it when is building is complete.

One of the things I love about Shanghai is that as it grows taller it keeps getting better. Each new design seems to fit in well with what already exists. I can't wait to see what supertall comes next. Now, if only something would be done about the air quality so that we could see those beautiful buildings more clearly!

Awesome so the podium does not have that weird golden roof like in the renders!

I think it's at around the 100th floor. I heard it's going to surpass the Burj Khalifa's observation deck in height, which really shows the enormity of the Burj's vanity height, even though there are some floors above the deck. The observation deck at the Burj Khalifa, named "At the Top", is at the 124th floor, but more importantly, is at a height of 1,483 feet. So Shanghai Tower's observation deck has to be at least 1,500 feet or something, since the tower itself has a height of 2,073 ft.

By the way, congratulations for the Shanghai Tower officially becoming a megatall! The dreamy glass everyone's been talking about is almost fully installed! It looks even better in real life than in the renderings. Hooray for 2014, the year that this tower will become completed!

ST's observation deck is at 557m which is 105m higher than BK's at 452m.

Even the observation deck in the Shanghai World Financial Center is higher than the one in BK.
