I think they meant to reuse that audio clip. He said something about the concrete pouring for the core.
Surprised no one caught it.

There was also a scene where one of the engineers was holding a model of ST, and there was a red, 1WTC model behind him...
Clearly, someone wanted more than one episode!

This thread should be pinned to the top of the forum rather than the imaginary Jeddah tower.

1. It's called Kingdom Tower

2. I don't think so, it's a (/an amazing) skyscraper, but only Kingdom Tower should get up there, because it's the tallest. Many other towers, which are as incredible as ST (like Ping An) are not at the top too. So why exactly ST?

I don't think any tower threads should be "sticked". Either they are not popular and they don't deserved to be sticked, or they are in which case they will naturally stick to the top of the page as they will be regular updates and new posts.

There was also a scene in another engineers office where they were next to a model of the crown of the Zhongan Center Tower.

Does anybody know when they will start installing the next section of the curtain walls? I know from the documentary that they have to time it around typhoon season but that should be over now right?

I agree, it's nothing special, I don't care if it's 2000m tall or built by pink unicorns, if people want to discuss it and there are enough participant in the thread it'll be one of the top threads in the general pool. Artificially sticking it is kinda lame.

Is it just me, or the inner part of the core looks already higher than it is in the redesign as described in post http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpo...ostcount=18400? And by the way, doesn't it appear as if same redesign adds some meters to the original design?

I've always had the same impression... if we're right, this will mean a shorter crown or an increased overall height of the whole building (say +4/+6m).
