I think a helicopter landing pad is being made in the centre of the crown.

It is evident from these photos that cladding has started on the 7th section!!! (maybe it's the eighth section, I'm not sure.) Construction of the crown is going to begin a little after the center, I call it, is complete, I guess.

Hardly. A helipad would require a completely flat top of the building, which is not seen on any of the renders. With the updraft around the building, landing a helicopter on its top would be near-impossible anyway.

no helipad, thats only landing area for modern flying capsule from the future, 20 years from now.

I can't wait to be there and take photos...Heading to Beijing on Saturday March 22 and will be in Shanghai on March 29th for two days!! then off to Hong Kong. So Excited!!

Is the crown really that complex to build? The pieces aren't on the site yet? We've been expecting for it too long already, and I'm eager to see it grow .
