I continue to believe that this structure will be taller than 632m when completed.

Guessing ~660m or so.

660 meters would have required a serious redesign of the whole structure. If anything, they could have made it taller by 4-5 meters just to beat Tokyo tower (no one would admit the reason, of course). Well, I guess we'll find out very soon.

Looks like they're testing RGB lighting. The Shanghai Tower will not only glow in one colour, but change in a vareity it seems. Is it for the slits only or will it also be on the sides? Could an Auroa Plaza-like display look good?

This intuition is based solely on the elevation of crown folds above a certain floor level. Since the number of floors has increased, it is possible that the crown moved up as well.

In any event, we shall find out soon enough...

no one should beat tokyo tower,where tokyo tower is non-functional tower,so don't make the skys angry while you compare two different pieces of engineering
