My Seoul U/C pics

I was in Seoul for 8 days and i made some u/c pics. The pics are not older than 2 weeks.
According to emporis there are 60 skyscrapers u/c in this city. I have the feeling that there are much more u/c. Seoul is a booming and fast growing city.

I am not an expert for Seoul skyscrapers. I just took the picture. If you have question you should ask some Korean forumers.

Awesome,
I can't wait to visit Seoul in two years

Yeah, Seoul is changing lots, and will probably look completely different in 10-20 years. It kind of makes you want to be able to look into the future.

The two are not under construction. I would have taken just some pics of an empty plot.

Muse: thank you very much.
I didn`t know i have fans

393bird: I don`t know how Seoul was in 1982, but it is a great and modern city today. Even for a skyscraper fan it is worth a visit.

Great job Martin. I didn't noticed such boom when I was there in 2002.

I like how they are fast on installing the facade while the structure is still going up just a couple of levels up.

I think 10.1 is part of the Seoul Digital Media Project - since you said it's near Olymic Park, but I'm not totally sure. :]

1.0's construction was much delayed when the developers were involved in some huge scandal im not familiar of. Its going to be a big mall, near 4 or 5 other similar sized malls

i believe they are building residential apartments. Also, Olympic Park is in south eastern part of Seoul, whereas the World Cup Park (which DMC is near) is in the western corner of Seoul

I myself visited Seoul this summer after 8 years and I was exteremely surprised how much the city has changed in such a short amount of time! The amount of impressive buildings, in addition to many cultural sites from hundreds of years ago, really puts Seoul in the top tier of cities around the world

To provide air lifting/evacuation possibilities in case of emergencies, like fires.
