Slovenian post booster
I'll write this in english...
First of all , I have to say....all this forum re-organization is a HUGE mistake from the start. Thats where I always stood and those who know me, know that i've always supported the "Eastern European" forum. We Serbs could have had asked for our forum a couple of years ago, but a few people, like myself, were always against that. There was no point, really. Even now, but what can I do, when there's some 30+ other Serbs who all want one. I think this all started when Ukrainians got their forum, and congrats to them, but if you look at it today, its even LESS active than the Austrian forum was - and who now remembers that Austrians ever had a forum?! They've now been grouped with the Germans ![]() I fear thats how Serbia forum will end up too, as well as the rest too. No matter, we can use these new forums to grow our membership on SSC and bring in even more crazy Balkanians & Easterners to mainstream European discussions ![]() I still remember the days when I was the only Serb here, and SinCity was the only Croat...how things have changed , huh? ![]() Thats when Euroscrapers were much more active, and the only photos of Belgrade were from 80's and looked grainy. Most people back then never even heard of the city ![]() Oh well, thats about it. Srecno sa novim forumom i nemojte odmah da pocnete da se svadjate. Ovo ce biti forum #2 za mene...od ostalih, malo sta me interesuje vise. |

I guess one of the reasons the mods broke up the EE forum was to "ethnically divide" the the forumers to reduce nationalism. I guess we might as well put the the old EE forum in the same category as the USSR and Yugoslavia, good times gone by.

Well good luck on the new forum, personally I don't like this one bit, I would rather like it the way it was everyone in EE. Now if I want to adress someone I have to go to the appropriate forums but whatever. As long as you have projects coming and don't create garbage threads, your forum will be fine.

SUGGESTION - Format of new threads
Everyone, we can start creating new topics in this forum.
![]() The only thing I wanted to mention here is the need to create some sort of format with the headers of new threads since three countries are represented here. ![]() Its probably good to start soon with some sort of disciplined format that will make it easier to navigate through the topics. So therefore lets get ourselves organised. BTW - Its highly unlikely we will see current threads such as ... Zagreb - Construction Update XIX Sarajevo - Constuction Update IX Croatian Motorways III Ljubljana Projects and Updates I ........ etc, etc .... We have more space now to expand the discussions so therefore we dont need to be restricted anymore. Therefore here are my suggestions with some examples below ...... City related projects ... ZAGREB (HR) - Centar Črnomerec (26 level Skyscraper) SARAJEVO (BiH) - Avaz Tower (162m Skyscraper) ZAGREB (HR) - Zagreb City Council Tower (20 level Skyscraper) SARAJEVO (BiH) - Unitic 3 (31 level Skyscraper) LJUBLJANA (SLO) - Passenger Centre Ljubljana (New Transport Hub inc Skyscrapers) RIJEKA (HR) - Tower Centre (17 level Tower with Shopping Centre) Other things such as ... ZAGREB (HR) - Infrastructure LJUBLJANA (SLO) - Public Transportation SARAJEVO (BiH) - Sporting Venues Country related topics ..... BOSNIA - Airports and Aviation SLOVENIA - Railways CROATIA - Ports and Shipping BOSNIA - Economic News CROATIA - Economic News SLOVENIA - Economic News Photo threads ..... PHOTOS - LJUBLJANA (SLO) - Ljubljana Castle PHOTOS - MOSTAR (BiH) - Stari Most PHOTOS - DUBROVNIK (CRO) - Old City Anyway, above are my suggestions. Let me know what you think. ![]() Maybe use "capital letters" like I did above to highlight the city or the country represented at the start of each topic. Makes it stand out easier.

good idea, we should actually start these threads in each of the new sections, so that we know how to rename the threads.
I suggest you guys can know have individual threads for the towers being built, at least for the midrises, so anything above 15 or 20 floors could get its own thread. I like your proposal Sincity, in fact it seems like a good idea for the EE/B to use

No probs 3tmk. ![]() I just thought it would be better to follow some sort of format from the start. It may save having to create more subsections, making things easier to navigate for the moment. |

hey SC i like it a lot, but i dont think we should, for example, JUST have a slovenian railway thread! all three should get a country-specific infrastructure thread, similar to the current ones (HR/SLO/BiH Railways, Airports, etc) just divided up by country instead of together as one.
and we also need a military thread. obviously this should (more like MUST) be divided as well, lol. |

great ideas SC (the mod in you is showing up already
)i cant see anything wrong with the devisions except what was pointed out by OC above me. when do you want to start the move. i think by the end of the week we should have our areas here set up so that we can go back to our threads. also i think we should make the Intro to Countries of the ________ (insert name) Forum as a sticky so that people know what our nations are about...
