i've heard both Belizean kriol and jamaican patois, and they sound pretty different to me.

I think since spanish and Belizean-Kriol are whats spoken among the Belizean people that those to languages ahould become the official languages. Belizean in Belize don't really talk to eachother in English unless they're in school or working with tourist area's of the country. It's not ignored but it's not considered as the official languages but as reconized langauges thoughtout Belize.

Yea Luis80 Belizeans and Jamicans are very different in both language and culture...Jamaicans wouldn't even know what Belize is if you were to ask one I am sure.. Now the accent of Belize is a mix of I would say Caribbean and Central American do to the fact thats it's consider part of both.. So yea we are very different and I would say Belizeans sound like Honduranos, Nicaraguans and, Panama rather then Jamaicans. We related to both Caribbean and Central America.

Luis she stated that her dads is from Belize and not her..Thats why she sounds American cause she is Belizean-American.

I am sure you would like it Tillor... I hopw you not wanting to suba drive the blue hole cause a few people haven't made it out of there cause they have gotten lost.. The Mayan Ruins are nice.. You should go during Belizean Independence Day.

Belice es un paraiso,.. en todo aspecto.

Ruinas mayas, bosques, playas etc! No conosco, pronto sera, solo se que mi padrastro es beliceño, lol pero no me acuerdo mucho de el.
