Very Very Nice! i love the fact that the LBC is taking off and that everything is so close to each other. Any news on when the 55 story might break ground as well as the press telegram towers?

Hey, I'm not sure if this is a new proposal, but I just found it from a CD I bought from some architectural presentation a few months back:

Thans for the nice renderings... these three projects are for areas 25, 26, and 27.

The taller tower (polaris) is on the MTA site and it lost to Urban Growth/The Related Companies (22 and 14 story towers).

The shorter tower (vela) lost to the The Lee Group/Kensington Holdings development team. They plan on adaptive resuse over the existing 10 story Edison building.

The Artist Block mixed use development project (shown in the third picture on the right) is still in the running... I hope Toll Brothers gets this project!!!!!!

Long Beach Construction Update:

West Ocean towers:

Big boys!!!

133 Promenade Walk - South building

On promenade looking north.... 133 Promenade Walk (both north and south buildings are on the left and Pacifica is on the right.

133 Promenade Walk - North building

Notice the BIG first floor

Promenade - Pacifica

On Promenade facing south... Pacifica on left and 133 Promenade Walk on the right. Right now Pacifica's underground parking lot is being built and it is almost reaching street level.

4th Street Gateway

Big hole right now. If you look you can see West Ocean towers being built in the back ground (center of photo).

There is one thing i don't understand, why construct condo's with a wooden frame (like 133 Promenade Walk - North building)? Seems quite noisy to me, everybody can enjoy their neighbours music...

LBC reminds me of the Villiges of LM, with the 4 story condos. It would pretty awsome if LBC endep up being something like the Villiges.
