What America did and what's going on in Vancouver are completely different.

1. Canada was not attacked on 9/11 by Arabs so obviously they are okay with letting DPW manage their port operations.

2. The US is not against Arab investment. In fact, the US is where most of the Gulf countries have their investments. Although, the Arabs/Arab governments must feel nervous after some of their assets were frozen. That was a dumb move by the US and, of course, resulted in some loss of confidence by the investors.

3. This is good news for people in Vancouver and BC in general. But please, don't make it seem like the ports deal was the biggest blow ever for the US. The US can do without a few billion dollars of investments. Anyone with any idea about the US economy would know that.

4. Hillary is a stupid b****. She is not really a liberal. She just panders to whatever is popular. She's trying to please both sides (Republicans and Democrats) so she has mass appeal. Who knows...maybe she'll decide to run for president one day.

5. The reason a lot of politicians opposed the DPW deal is not because they were personally convinced that it would be a national security risk. In my opinion, it is because they wanted to be on the safe side so that IF someday something happens, they can raise their hand and say....hey i voted against that deal...go after the ones that voted for it. Politicians are self-serving and only care about their own hides.
