I find it funny how you can 'tune-out' of the BT and almost not notice it is there, then asometimes see it from a new viewpoint and be surprised!

I must say that the basic paint job improved the look of BT considerably . Take a look at some of the old pics....extemely drab . I think it's quite an attractive structure now ; touching elegant at times .

Good news for Carillion - and yes I used to hate the look of the BT tower 20 odd years ago when it was drab, dirty and more of a scar on the cityscape to be honest. But now its like a shining beacon and I hope it stays a prominant landmark for another 40 years

Yep, the lights on the BT tower was deffo on last night, as was all the lights on Colmore Plaza.
