soz to say that man, we need somin to stand out, i am useless with photoshop, otherwise i would have made the banner##someone who is gd at must make it

^I was not saying that we will submit one of those, just posting them up as examples from previous years. Anyway I made the one that wasn't put up as the banner... the top one was made by Gilgamesh our old mod.

I'll probably make a multi-shot banner over the next few months... but anyone else is welcome to submit one.

Okay guys, I made one for Norouz. I tried some fonts but didn't know what to use, so I left a plain one for anyone who knows a better font.

And here's one for Kish, the beauty of Persian Gulf

I got bored and made more:

-Collage of Tehran's landmarks and modern buildings

-Tehran's skyline, same pic as Shugs posted. I just edited the colours, light, shadows and played around with the position

I personally think the 2nd Tehran banner is suitable since many people don't even know how Tehran's skyline looks like.

I agree but I don't like the first caption on the left, kinda weird and it's one of the first things that crops up in google image search for norouz... The rest of it is fantastic.

My only objection is that view has been a previous banner

The first one's horizon line isnt straight. The second banner is quite good, it's got a bit of grain & noise which can be fixed.

I couldn't find any good pictures that matched the other pictures but I replaced the 2 pics with something else

Apple, painted eggs, gold fishes, sonbol flower and lion (symbol of Persia)

I kept the soldiers in this one
