When I saw this building for the first time it was not to advanced as it is right now,

looks like a fat pentel pen to me.. somehow the proportion makes it look like a pen..

not impressed at all by this tower. The height is the only thing going for it..viewed from 3 miles away it will look great.

Golden sands tower in the backgroudn still not done...

About the Rose rotana, anyway u look at it u gotta like it. I can imagine it would fit more or less anywhere.

Ive always wondered when looking at shots from this location, isnt the gulf on the other side of the SZR? To come to deira u keep going straight towards Burj Dubai on SZR, to come to the marina/jumeriah, you go towards the emirates towers and world trade center dont you?

BEAUTIFUL, would look even better with the backdrop of future hi-rises, giving it the skyline density that would complement its own world-class design

Rose Tower on target for January opening date

Dubai: Real estate company Bonyan International Investment Group says its Rose Tower project is 80 per cent complete and on target for completion in January 2007.

Overlooking Shaikh Zayed Road, company officials say the steel-structured property will be the world's tallest hotel apartment. The 333-metre construction is a result of more than Dh500 million in investment and will feature luxury accommodation, restaurants, and shopping and leisure facilities.

"We are moving at the right pace to meet our target date for completion," said Abdullah Atatreh, chairman of Bonyan.
