U/C: the Wall Stadium (MZ& Partners)

The Wall Stadium is one of a kind, unique in form, emerged from green shallow dune. The slanted colossal structure dominates on the surrounding areas by its solid form and height at the same serving as the main stand for spectators. Moreover the green dune serves as parking areas for spectators and canopy on the top of the stands.

The football playfield punctures the serene green dune at centre thus exposing the nature of the structure.

Number of floors: B+G+4
Height: 60m
Plot area: 200,000sqm
Total built-up area: 233,775
Designed: MZ & Partners

This project is going to be built some where in Bo-Hamour area for Alahli Sport Club and what you see here is part of the sport complex.
and by the way, a new air conditioning system would be used in this opened stadium so if I'm not mistaken it's going to be the first opened air conditioning stadium in the world! .

That's a long time and i'm sure it was in design stage during that time.

Anyway its capacity around 10 000 which I forget to mention, but don't you think it's small for such a high budget project like this? I heard it costs around 650 million QR and this without the cost of the innovative air conditioning system

according to wht i heard a month ago, the green dome, which cover the parking areas, will be taken out as they want to reduce the cost of this structure... it's realy a shame coz that was one of the most beautiful characters in this project ,while they still keeping the cooling system in the arena !!
