⁴ᴷ NYC Subway Timelapse - A Round Trip on the J Line

Quote:
The J is a rapid transit service in the B Division of the New York City Subway. The J operates at all times and uses the entire BMT Archer Avenue, Jamaica, and Nassau Street lines between Jamaica Center – Parsons/Archer in Jamaica, Queens and Broad Street in Lower Manhattan (via the Williamsburg Bridge between Brooklyn and Manhattan). On weekdays, trains run express in the peak direction in Brooklyn between Myrtle Avenue and Marcy Avenue, bypassing three stations.

Taken on January 11th, 2016.

Not many computers can handle it , let a lone Internet connections... My Computer doesn't crash , but the 4k does not work properly.. It think its more of an Internet thing with me. While you can't play the 4K the overall video quality is enhanced in general...

Gotcha. Also, while you're here, why in the world did the NYC subway have a decline in Ridership. I know it's only a couple thousand people, but still not great.

Probably due to all the construction that is happening on the network.

Well it was at record levels, so it just slid a tiny off its peak. Also getting into late summer to fall is a less busy season. For 4K, you have to have 4K viewing device, either monitor, TV, or projector, phone, etc. Or four 1080 monitors set up together. It doesn't matter unless the camera is good. One of the videos looked mediocre, there are more 4K recording devices all of a sudden than viewing devices, including smart phones with super high MP cameras. It's a waste most of the time. For all the high tech gadgetry, there are some things you can't get around needing actual mass, such as a real size camera.

I think it would be one of the first you posted here. I watched it on my tablet or smart device, so it was a high pixel density screen of good quality, it only lets me go to 720 because it's 768 the short way, but that never matters, it pixel matches and scales well. What cam you use? Most seem to be point and shoots.

I especially like the picture at the lower left corner. The subway was pretty clean in the era of Titanic.
