ive edited a new diagram. added in 298m Wheelock square (far right). also fixed up some foundations for some towers.
just on the big 5, hard to believe, illl soon add 484m Al burj alam and 600m moscow tower. i might have to limit to 450m.

I'd say have the limit as 450m roof height (or extended facade if any). Because the freedom tower only has a pole-like spire it looks shorter than the official height.

Is the current height of Burj Dubai 281m confirmed or is it only a calculation with average floor heights?

And i cant understand why Silverstein will not put another 15m on the WTC1 to make it the tallest "from people used" structure (to except the KVLY mast) in north america.

Any word on the Busan Lotte tower in Korea? It seems like it would be a good candidate for the "Big [X]" diagram, if it is indeed proceeding in construction.

^im progressively calculating burjsd height, plus going off plans. It has so many differing floor heights.Obviously everything with BurjD is approximate. thats all we have atm. what do you reckon looks bloody 281m.?lol
Would be better to have nearby towers to scale off but being built in centre of a desert acerage its harder to scale.anyway atleast Emaarr lets everyone know about official floor heights.
cheers

Cool. You need to get rid of najad tower though, that was replaced by elite residence. Also "the skyscraper" (best name ever!!) is an office tower I think

shit i thought i did remove it? must of been from world diagrams.
yes THE SKYSCRAPER is a great name. its design is gorgeous.
Dubai has currently 3 skyscrapers that reach 300m+.
Rose Hotel is just about there and of course mighty BurjD will reach 300m next month.
there are another 5 (lake Hotel,Almas tower, ahmed abdul, emirates crown & index) will reach 300m next year.Another6 are at foundation stages.
so thats 10 + 6=16 300m= skyscrapers within 3 years. not to mention others about to start.

Also there's a new tower on SZR that'll most likely hit 300m but the height isn't known. It seems like a huge tower in general not just height. It's also U/C.

---------------------------------------------------

Also possible new supertall in DIFC. It appears just slightly taller than the index so around 340m. I wouldn't add it yet though as there is no news on it yet and there is no signboard up or anything. Just news from the masterplanners.

www.civicart.com

--------------------------------------------------

Stuff to watch out for. Sometime in the future 2 supertalls will be released for "the lagoons" project. This is a concept pic but is only to give an idea so doesn't actually show their proper designs. Is by the same company doing the supertalls in Doha and Istanbul (and apparantly they have other places aswell for more projects )

-------------------------------------------------

Culwulla, any news on D1?

It's on the sunland group's website but no render, only "comming soon"

malac- there was an article in todays sydney financial review about Sunland in Dubai. It said they are pressing ahead with a 125$mil project in Business bay and will start mid2007. It mentions they are also pressing ahead with the 80storey D1 tower.keen to commence 2007.So things are going well for Sunland in the land of the sun.
