Thats a pretty short while since the boom started then. If thats the case, it sure picked up speed fast!

Good projects for Panama, would like to see some of the underconstruction pics as well.

More than 300 skyscrapers under construction, the expansion of the Panama Canal and the new Museum of the Biodiversity designed by Frank Gehry, this is just the beginning for this great city.

They'll all be about 2 months old, some already started and we don't have pictures, main reason is because the photographer in Panama broke his camera so he's buying one soon, until then, we won't have any updates! MY BAD!

Panama’s upper class have created a “Miami” lifestyle for themselves and what you are seeing is the evolution of that lifestyle being developed with labor at 1/10 of the cost.
Couldn' have said it better, they call Panama the Miami with steroids...

a quick postscript.

Half a dozen years ago (maybe 8 years ago) I travelled to Costa Rica... on the way back we stopped in Panama City to pick up some passengers. Flying in to the airport (long ago) I remember thinking "what the **** is that?".

"That" was the city skyline a long time agoo... imagine the future.

Just get ready for Panama.. weather is always great, people are open-minded and ambitious, and the biggest consumer on the planet is due north.

just a thought. ;-)

The skyline of Panama in 8 years has altered dramatically, trust me, also, the airport is being rennovated and it's considered the most modern airport in the region. Panama is changing day by day, something that is good, in less than 10 years, Panama City will become a first world class city, not even kidding, and in less than 20 years a first world country. In my opinion, when all of these projects are done, Panama City could easily be in the Top 3 best skylines in the America's, and also Top 10 best skylines in the world, just my opinion, right now it's ranked in the top 25, but in less than 4 years it will be in the top 10.

By that statement are you talking about the United States? It's true, the United States is the largest consumer in the world, but the United States and Panama will be even more allied in 5 years, with all the trading that will occur. If any of you think that these buildings will not be occupied and we'll be in bankruptcy, you all are wrong because these buildings are not being requested by the people from Panama and the retirees, but also from international companies and investors.

We don't hate Americans, at least 3/4 of the nation don't, mainly because we were allied for almost 100 years, also, Panama is a country were English is widely spoken, over almost 20% of the nation speaks English as their native language, and probably over 50% of the country speak it fluently, like me for example. I've been speaking English and Spanish since I was 3 years old.

You might want to contact djmegabyte, Menandro, or Zinho for those updates. They're the ones who mostely have all of these updated pictures.

I'm pretty sure it's been going on for longer than half a year, areas like Punta Pacifica and Costa Del Este have been in development for the past 5yrs or so, dozens of new skyscrapers have been finished around the city in the past couple of years also.

Just to get a perspective on the height, the completed Raddison seen right along side the Megapolis project is a 30 floor tower.
