TEHRAN | Milad Tower | 435m | 1427ft | Com

couldnt find original thread. was wondering how one of the worlds tallest towers is going? it will eventually rise 435m.
found some recent pix on flickr
current height is approx 370m
still top 65m spire to go on.

Reminds me of the KL Tower. Certainly a major landmark for Tehran, but progress has been very slow. It's been sitting as a stalk for a long time now, maybe even years.

Its reminds me a bit of Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas with the shape of the observation area.

It doesnt look 370 meters, but almost like the tower in Seattle (I forgot its name). It looks like its in the middle of nowhere, but still a nice design.

Wow! Interesting!

This tower is huge, it looks short because of its design, the stem is enormous. Looking forward to seeing what the interior will look like when finished.

Is there a render of what this is expected to look like when completed. It is a nice tower and the view from the top looks spectacular - a few more highrises around it and the view would be to die for.
