Hi,

Actually there is still some more small work to be done around the tower.

This is the article from the main thread in Iran forum:

Milad tower is part of The Tehran International Trade and Convention Center. Scheduled for completion in late 2008, the project includes the Milad telecommunication tower offering restaurants at the top with spectacular views of Tehran, a five-star hotel, a convention center, a world trade center, and an IT park.

Wow you are so detailed, very cool. Those lights are a mountain trail stop and rest areas in the mountaiun. Check out the pic below to see the views of Tehran from those mountains

Mt. Damavand, 75 KM north of the city, the highest point in middle east with height of 5887 Meters.

Villages in the heart of Alborz mountains near Tehran. Very peaceful and beautiful

Beautiful pictures, Alitezar. The Milad Tower seems like a graceful and elegant tower. Very well designed.

The picture of the shirtless young man in your "Pix" of Iranian boys is really good looking! Thanks for sharing it with us.

I can't believe it, A city in the middle that look so flourishing!

The mountains surrounding the city are so high up and yet so near, easily more than 5000ft above the city.

Gosh, if only have the view of Tehran tower from those mountain and how it fare with its surrounding, it will be the best!

Slightly off-topic: What's the economy like in Tehran/Iran these days?

It's hard to dig out the truth from all of the garbage I hear in the news.

^ Terrible but people are getting by...

I heard last month there is a three month delay on the project (contrary to what the countdown clock says)...

Some of the structures around the tower are still u/c also... Perhaps it will be finished in two months but they are so unreliable... The project has taken a disgustingly long amount of time to get to this stage...
