It's a communication (T.V & Radio Tower) and also is going to have a obeservation deck, shops and restaurants on top.

I dont get why they built it if it's a tv tower. Surely just sticking a tower on the mountains would be easier?

OMG look at that TRAFFIC JAM!!!!!

What I like best about this tower is the 'sky pod' appears to have many floors in it at least 9, unlike other towers that have a few floors.

It takes about 3 more months for it to be finished
There is still some work to be done on the observation deck and the base.

I like where they put the tower, Its beside the highway, the malls, houses etc..

For everyone who sayin how tall the mountians are, Its around 500 meters to 6000 meters.

You are saying in term of elevation? I find it quite surprising how is it going to be 500m ASL for the mountain when Tehran is already 1200m ASL. Anyway tallest is Damavand, 5671m asl.


Milad tower is nice, but i wonder if the view from the observation deck is any way better than the view as seen for the northern alborz mountain.
