Could someone please post the most recent renderings of this project? So that I can update the first post of the thread. Thanks!

When some companies win the BOT tendering for upper structure and structure erect by government is done, then you can see it start rising. Current structure we can see in photo is done by Taiwan High Speed Railway and Taipei MRT authority, it include underground airport line station, underground tunnel and superstructure up to 2nd or third floor. The structure above third floor will be erected by winning bidder.

i still dont understand how and why they would start construction on a skyscraper when they dont have the contractor to build it. what if they dont find one by the time they're ready to finish the terminal station/base part or never even find one? we all know how long it takes to find companies to bid on projects in taiwan as its such a bureaucratic procedure.

NOWnews.com

The foreign team consist of Mori Group Subsidiary, IGB Corporation Berhad andMID VALLEY CITY SDN.BHD win the BOT contract for erecting rest of superstructure ( start from floor 3). The operation period is 50 years.

is mori the guy who built the shangai financial center? this is what taiwan needs to do: open up the local property market to foreign investors. taiwanese companies are too small to develop them themselves especially for big skyscrapers and complexes. much of china's buildings/skyscrapers were built with foreign investment and by foreign companies.

models look great! can they start building it already?? and hopefully this development will spread to the surrounding area and make property owners renovate their own buildings or replace them with new buildings. that entire area needs a total urban renewal.

Acutally, the structure in the photo is part of superstructure. It is substructure plus ground floor (called 1st fl in Taiwan) to 3rd floor structure. Taiwan Raily is responsibility for all construction I mention in last sentence.
