The tower will be built in 5 years. Not less. Construction will end in 2014 I think. But I very much like a tower!

No, construction works don't come to an end never in Russia. Many operations to spend it's impossible in the winter on technology, but do that is possible. Though it more slowly than in the summer.

In Russia buildings are build by immigrants from republics of the former USSR. They have is poorly rights and they work on weekends and holidays, days and nights, as slaves.

So it's exactly like in Italy (of course, change "republics of the former USSR" with "Romania, Albania, North Africa, Middle East, and republics of the former USSR").

you need to read moscow and russian laws. moscow allow 200000 of illegal immigrants annualy to work officially on construction sites from total of 600000 in all types of business. they have all rights as all other citizens has - insurance, unions, salaries based on laws etc etc etc. moscow authorities constantly checking construction sites for unregistered migrants and expel them back to their countries. large development companies never use unregistered labor force as it will hurt their business very well. it usually happens only to very small development companies or private developers.

Builders receive very small payment. Russians will not work for this money. Therefore immigrants erect buildings basically.

well, my point was a bit different buildmilehightower has a very big lack of knowledgebase in geography. moscow is located some 4000 km away from northern siberia in central europe, where average modern temp in january is -4 - +2C.

Russia is the coldest country in the world! It means in this country coldly everywhere and everytime! It's a stereotype which should be broken

I wouldn't think so because the Country where I live it's pretty much like Russia We are just like twins in geography , here we have a long cold winter half of the year and the other half is spring and summer is just as fantastic as anywhere else on earth _ and of course everything will slow down abit when the cold air mass takes over , but things are still moving at a slower pace

Simply many people think that in Russia the snow lays the year round and always -20..-30 C and in all territory of the country. But we have a subtropical belt even (very small )
