If this is the one by Waitrose on corner of Cemetrey road / Napier st, I quite like it, but still has Some un-finished bits i.e exposed water pipes on soffits to lobbies, external tiling round base etc. Green cladding beats cheap red brick !!!, and it ties with copper on SU Info centre at Brook hill.

Good render but would the Stair / entrance towers that project look better in say Stone or a contrasting brick ?

New project by Brewster bye architects to replace Flockton house on Division St has gone in for council approval.

Not sure about the design on this one,but yet another building using different colours in the design.

http://www.brewsterbye.co.uk/ under residential public Flockton Court.

Its certainly different to whats on Division Street currently. I quite like it. Thisis a finalised design? It sounds a bit vague on the website, and it appears in their 'Masterplans' section too.

Agreed. I like the corner bit, but the rest is a bit rubbish. It would really do with ground floor retail on the sideroad too!

Yeah it was great. Want to be back there still! Although 44 degrees is a bit too warm for my liking.

Ah well about the tower. The crane on H&L was quite a decent welcome home present.

Great thread. Some very nice-looking developments going on. I think these modern flats really do look very attractive though like many say, those Terracotta ones don't fit in so well. Maybe something brighter and more lively wouldn't do badly in a street like that.
