Hi All

I've just written to Memon about my instalment plan. I made a lump sum payment to cover me until Feb 09 with 1st instalment being due in Mar 09 - the contracted completion date being April 09.

Obviously, the completion date is no longer attainable - I've requested Memon to defer my payments for a while. Anyone else in the same boat? How do Memon deal with this?

I have just been on a site called gowealthy dot com, and they are saying 1 bed appartments 773 sq meters are £200 grand

, any ideas how these people valued them at this price?
or is it, as I suspect, good old fashoned bollocks

With 200 grand you mean approx. AED 1.083.720?
(had to search a currency convector...).
It's, by the way, better to keep prices in AED or $.

My friend, this is not a strange price. Memon is selling appartments in the Champions Towers now for AED 1950,-/sq ft (!!!).
Well... that is a bit overpriced, if you ask me. I think AED 1400,-/sq ft is a realistic price (if they ever get build...)

realistic maybe, but I've been trying to sell mine at only 1100 AED /sq foot - no interest whatsoever. has anyone got nay money left??

As far I can see on the citymap, Champions Tower are placed on R4 13, and i look in sports City forum, where there are som pictures showing that plot 13 compare to the stadium, are up in storict 15, means that the only have to finish inside??

No way CT 3 have gone up to 15 Storeys. I spoke with the Developer recently and the construction completion is Oct 09 (apparently). which building were you looking at Kim.

Rob, using your contacts, can you get some real info on the progress of all Champions towers - pictures, articles etc.

Imre, Amplesou, any chance fo getting progress pictures of all Champions Towers

I'm trying to get information from Memon, but it seems they are only busy making new plans with new developments. Only CT1 makes progress.
I beleive they still don't have contractors for several projects (like CT4).

i noticed the uk pound prices are based on 7.45 durhams to the pound whenever was it that high!

Deffo 7.2 this time last year.
So the weaker the pound the better it is for us???

Me paid for 8 instalments about £7100, and then because of the piss poor pound it has cost me for the 9th payment £9000.
Bad if you are paying

If you click on dubai sport city, and then goe too last page and look at nr. 810 picture nr. 8, you see too tall building left on the cricket stadium??

no Kim. these are the Falak Towers. all Champions Towers save CT1 are still in the ground.

Kim. just looked at the Falak website. the two towers are Hub Canal 1 and Hub Canal 2. Naz Falak is one of the developers of DSC along with the Al Zarooni and the "other guy"
