![]() Brnik to become logistical hub for Central and Southeastern Europe Quote:
![]() The strategic plan for the airport has a target of 1,600,000 passengers by 2010, yet the number of passengers was 1,000,000 in 2004 and 1,200,000 in 2005 and it's still growing in double-digit percentage. I think we'll hit that 1,600,000 mark earlier than we thought. ![]() Maybe 2 million by 2010?

Not just in Ljubljana, local elections will be held in all the 210 municipalities in Slovenia. Voters will elect mayors and city councils. And yes, pretty much every candidate is saying Ljubljana should get a new stadium and sports centre and that the current Plečnik stadium should be kept for minor league matches and recreation.

Plečnik's stadium won't get bigger, they'll probably just renovate it and use it for local purposes. All candidates are talking about a new stadium and a sport centre in Nove Stožice. Plans have already been made. And as usual, our dear candidates promise a lot to us. Not just the stadium, but also public garages, thousands of new appartments, cityrail, even new city hospital, and of course realizing all major projects that have been waiting for more than 10 years. We'll se if this elections change something. At least they'll bring us the funicular to the city castle (how ironic... They needed just about the whole mandate for it). |

![]() Modernization of state roads by 2020 Quote:
And a video: http://24ur.com/naslovnica/novice/sl...8_16140789.php So, a modernization of state roads by 2020, estimated to 1.45 billion euros, also includes construction of at least expressway on the 170 km long 3rd developmental axis (Austria - Slovenj Gradec - Velenje - Celje - Novo mesto - Croatia), axis 3a (Ljubljana - Ribnica - Kočevje - Croatia) and the 4th axis (Italy - Kobarid - Tolmin - Cerkno - Škofja Loka - Jeprca). There's also toll expected on some of these sections.

Slovenija planira gradnju jedog jadranskog otoka
Pozdrav |

Hehe, no, it's not fake at all. It's one of the projects of the new development resolution of our government.
We already talked about it a bit... Here's an article in Slovenian: Quote:
And this project is actually not that new. Municipality publiched its views about it about 5 years ago. |
