The cities themselves aren't just the airports, but they have districts that contain the airport. (None of the airport packs have worked for me, so if you see a cluster of in-game airports in one of my cities, it is probably a National or International Airport)

It's nice but is there a reason for the ferry on the small island?

Yes there is. It is so visitors can go to the island to camp out, instead of staying in a hotel. It's a good source of revenue for the National Park System.

Now for a hotel tour and then something of mine for you to toy with while I'm on vacation.

Fredo City Hotels:
Courtyard Hotel Fredo City North - 132 Mall Road

Super 8 Motel Fredo City North - 323 Mall Lane

RLS Resort of Fredo City - 484 Branyan Street

Gerdon Hotels:
Gerdon Inn - 10-56 Gerdon Inn Road

Griballa Hotels:
Griballa Casino & Resort - 13243 Wilde Avenue

Oakland Hotels:
Goober Conference Center of Oakland - 3298 East Frontage Road

Trimblelina City Hotels:
Embassy Suites Downtown TC - 3000 United States Street

Double Tree Hotel Downtown TC - 1239 Miami Beach Street

Hampton Inn TC South - 332 Champaign Street

Courtyard Hotel TC Airport - 321 Canada Street

City Park Resort - 1023 Fort Worth Street

Benign Hotel TC Downtown - 38 New Haven Street

TC Downtown Hotel & Casino - 21023 North Frontage Road

Kali Knight Conference Center of TC - 21932 Cherrygrove Street

UDI Downtown Marriot - 3856 UDI Street

UDI Mary Hotel - 3864 UDI Street

Red's Roadside Motel UDI Downtown - 234 Toronto Street

Sheraton Four Points Downtown UDI - 3289 Ever Grande Street

Verde Valley Hotels:
Verde Valley Casino & Hotel - 3432 University Avenue

Red's Roadside Motel of Verde Valley - 231 Right Avenue

Zeus Hotels:
SGM Grand Zeus - 32003 Branyan Street

Thumblin' Dice of Zeus - 1324 Degrados Tejanos Street

RLS Resort of Zeus - 1392 Degrados Tejanos Street

An extra pic of one of the most difficults intersections to navigate in Trimblelina. This is located in Oakland, TCTP. (TC Suburb)

And... INTERACTIVITY!
I need desperately to make over the transportation layout in the TCTP Region, but I need outside help for best judgement. Riverside needs a beltway, as does the group of larger NW cities as a whole (Timbuktu, Watertown, Gnome, Dasonville, etc.), and we can't forget our southeastern large cities (Trimblelina City, Hibbing, etc.), can we? If you want to propose more than just road routes, I'm open to your plans! Routes can run through existing cities. Here are your maps to work with:
Aerial Region Shot:

Transportation Map:
[IMG][/IMG]

I'd like to see how it would look on both maps. Thanks! Anyone can propose a plan for my region's road layout.

Here is Fort Michael's other landscaping project, done at the same time as the one in the previous update, as well as my progress in rebuilding downtown Riverbottom (Zerox region on national map).

Fort Michael

Riverbottom (Thoughts, criticisms, and other ideas welcome)

You should add more avenues in the downtown area.

Here is the almost finished product that is Downtown Riverbottom.

Close up of River Stadium, the home of the Riverbottom Raiders.

For the region Riverbottom is in (Zerox), TmDoT and ZxDoT announce that a numbered route freeway plan has been developed, with the goal of making intra-regional commuting faster.

Similarily, TmDoT has announced plans for a inter-regional tollway network nationwide, for faster cross-country commuting. The tollways would eventually pay for themselves, particularly those that link the larger cities together.

Expect similar updates throughout the week.

Toronto street (along with some other streets) looks lethal, I wouldn't drive on those ultrasteep streets...

Keep up the good work! This forum section makes me want to play SimCity again and dig up my old region. Unfortunately time isn't on my side.

Another day, another regional infrastructure to develop a plan for:

Trimblelina River - Timbuktu Plains Area Plan (TmDoT and TmTA) (Trimblelina City)

@ Filip: Yes it is, except for the fact that it runs along the lake shore between those two hotels, making it popular with DTowners that want to take a swim.

@ Diz: Thanks.

@ Nefast: At least it isn't San Fransisco steep! Or, as Trimblelinans call it, Cliffside Syndrome! (that's the city in the SW corner of the region that I just formed an infrastructure plan for.

Maybe another tomorrow.
