Looks lovely!

NFS is going to be a wonderful place once all the condos surrounding it are complete. You can already see Aura, Motion, RCMI in the frame.

Soon to be you will see 210 Simcoe, Indx, 100 Adelaide West, ICON and then also in the frame you will see the Entertainment District condos (Pinnacle, The Bond, Picasso, Studio - just to name a few). NFS will be surrounded, but not shadow'd.

I was hoping the elevated walkways would come down, opening up the square to the street. Despite the nice renovations, it therefore still has what was (in my opinion) the single biggest problem with NPS.

I think it looks great and I'm very curious to see what the Peace Garden will look like, on the other side.

I find the elevated walkways frame the square and its very much a product of its era. For that reason it should remain so that the architectural integrity of NPS is preserved.

100% agree.
I'm also curious about the Peace Garden but believe it should never have gone into NPS in the first place. It was always kind of a sore thumb.

The stage looks really nice at night all lit up. Saw it last night from the streetcar.

I agree for sure. It makes the space what it is and was an integral factor to the design of the building way-back-when. However they are in need of a revitalization (clean up the undersides, clean the concrete). Also the connections to Sheraton and Chestnut Residence are not unused and really close off Queen St and the park behind, I think those really have to be removed as the whole "connectivity" has unfortunately been lost.
