I've noticed that threads of individual Lithuanian cities are dying and decided to create one thread for all Lithuanian cities/towns. Also now there will be a place where to post information about projects in smaller Lithuanian cities (not only Vilnius, Kaunas or Klaipėda).

I'll start with few projects in Šiauliai. Šiauliai with population of 130 000 is the fourth biggest Lithuanian city.

New universal arena is being built in Šiauliai. It'll have 5000 places. Arena is being cladded with holographic glass which has different colors from different angles. Construction update by kaunietis from tinkle.miestai.net:

"Saulės miestas" ("Sun city") - another project in Šiauliai. It's multifunctional project: shopping center, new bus station of the city and office highrise. It'll have about 90 shops, cafes and restaurants. Rendering from www.merko.lt:

Another aquapark is being constructed in Vilnius, capital and the biggest city of Lithuania (population 553 553). This aquapark is not as expensive as the one in Druskininkai and looks similar to aquapark in Jurmala.

Big shopping center "Akropolis" is being constructed in Kaunas (the second biggest city of Lithuania with population of 360 637). Total area of shopping center is 81 648 m². Old buildings will be integrated to this shopping center, parking is being built above street.

"Gedimino 9", Vilnius. ~20 000 m2 shopping center is U/C in the most expensive street of the Baltic states called Gedimino avenue. Actually it is not being U/C from scratch. Old building which once belonged to municipality of Vilnius is being turned to shopping center.

Shopping center "Panorama", Vilnius. Total area 129 000 m2 (with underground parking). 65 000 m2 without parking.

Residential project "Seaside residence" ( www.seasideresidence.lt ) in Palanga (population ~19 000), resort town located at the Baltic sea. It attracts the biggest number of tourists out of all resort towns in the Baltic states.

Constructions of part of Southern motorway in Vilnius have started. Investments 76 mio EUR. It'll contain short tunnel, few two-three level crossings. Total length - 2,2 km.

Another infrastructure project in Vilnius. Viaduct at Gelezinio Vilko-Ukmerges streets. It will make life easier for those who go from city center to suburbs.
