Badro.. 7amdillah 3la as-salaama

I've just opened a thread about Byblos Banl Africa HQ but don't have the full info and latest updates. Am really hoping you could get some pics of progress + a pic of the board in front of it stating the owners, contractors, etc.

Could you also check up on the proposed Kuwaiti "city" in al-Jireif Sharq, right after the Manshiya bridge.

+ Burj al Atibba if you dont' mind.

Don't forget to enjoy your time.

I agree but the thing is Khartoum is a relatively young city before 1955 it only had a population of 70,000 and political turbulence and conflict meant it only really started developing at the end of the last decade. But give it a decade or so and we would have sorted out our roads.

I was told of by police on two occassions when caught trying to take pictures on the Nile Street and on Mek Nimir Street. I'll probably have to get a license or something. It should be alright though as I know several people in the National Security Forces. The atmosphere is quite tense in the country with the elections scheduled for Sunday. Unfortunately I will not be able to vote since I registered in London!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However I will be hustling with my camera in Khartoum and hopefully will be able to take some shots.

Please feel free to drop any suggestions!
great pics it would be nice if you could tell the places were the pictures were taken...good luck with the security officers i really could Not figure out why you can't take pictures ? do these people live in the stone age? haven't they heard of Google earth or spy satellites?daaaaaaaaaaa!!!! ..we live in a very different world than let's say 20 years ago.....

Project Engineers - Sudan

Large Middle-East based Project Management require Project Engineers for their Building projects in Sudan, in North Africa. Its is a good Long Term Opportunity with a well established company in the Reigon.

Candidates would preferably have some middle-east experience and it would be an advantage to have previous exp with a Consultancy or a PM Company (Although Not Essential)

A Good Package is on offer to anyone who is interested.
