Hello and big welcome to our country..you shouldn't have any problem in Khartoum as far as food is concerned or any thing else .there are a lot of restaurants and some local and international food chain restaurant like Moumin, an Egyptian restaurant there is also one Indian and one Chinese restaurant located in Khartoum2. in general the food tastes very delicious due to the use of organic ingredients.i have to mention though its a bait expensive. here is my email: wnugud@msn.com i live in Los Angele CA USA right now but i visit Khartoum quite often. let me know if you need any thing else and i will try and help you as much as i can..again welcome to Sudan

Stick with DSL as much as you can most parts of the city are covered with fiber optics the speed is sufficient for video or VoIP. if you can't get DSL i suggest wireless by Sudani one. prices are also reasonable around 80 Sudanese pounds(25 dollars) per month. let me know if you need further assistance or info thanks
