Imre, thanks for your updates. You are incredible Is your job in someway related with all this material? Or it's only for fun and altruism?

I think we should be able to access the original size images, or at least 1 megapixel. For me 50% is too small. Maybe less than that is good for thread showing, but with original size accesible with clicking on links (if its possible ). If this is not possible, thumbnails will be a very good solution for intensive threads like this.

BTW, in the PC I am now I have only 512 MB of memory and Win98, with 1 MBit ADSL, and I have never had a problem in this thread (which is - thankfully- the most intensive in SSC!! )). In Burj Dubai threads (for me are the most important) I also have 0 problems, because they are a lot lighter than this one.

Imre, this isn't what I mean. If you post a thumbnail then you see a small picture but you can click on it to see the full size one. If you upload to imageshack then you select the 2nd option. This is it:
