But so are a lot of other counties. Is tTianjin having a skyscraper boom too? I know Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Beijing are

Add Tianjin, Chongqing, Shenyang and Shenzhen to that list. Beijing isn't in a boom anymore though, at least for Chinese standards.

yes, the projects in my signature are just a small fraction of all the projects underway...there's like 5 or so forgotten supertalls in binhai new area, it will be quite a surprise for you all when they start rising soon!

Here's an example of the boom:



Almost the entire new line of towers from left to right have been built since 2004, now Tianjin is moving into a boom phase of taller towers (you can say that the shorter towers are a kind of "test" of demand).

1-3, depending on the week and the difficulty of the floor (mech floors take longer). Recently they seem to be going at warp speed ever since the side towers were topped out, they're building 3 floors at a time!

Sorry for my pics going down, they will be available again starting April 1
