wow nice pics. The first pic in the 2.19 series actually indicate how tall the tower actually is, relative to its surroundings

It's a residential building that was just finished, people haven't moved in yet so the interior lights aren't on, but I guess they should have some exterior lights for safety. Anyway, I've never seen an airplane let alone a helicopter fly over Tianjin city center, even Tianjin airport doesn't get much traffic despite being the airport for a city of 8 million+.

wow, at 337m it looks really tall, maybe due to the surrounding area. So they start up a cbd from scratch in this area?

Yea, for a sec, I though it was a 400m the tower turned out pretty good. I just hate the cosco tower next to it.

Hum. Me too, I'm puzzled. The tower has a metal-looking upper structure, could it have been added as an afterthought?

Edit: I forgot the whole tower is made of metal pipes... anyway the top part looks different at least in color, anyone knows if it's part of the original project?
