2006-2007 Leafs OFFICIAL Thread

Since we have a Raptors thread, I decided to add an OFFICIAL Leafs thread. I know its a little late as the season has already started but better late than never.

So lets catch everybody up to speed. We are 5 games into the season and the Leafs have 6 points . Game 1 was a 4-1 home opener loss to Ottawa which was then followed by a 6-0 SHUTOUT revenge game.

Games 3-5 were all SHOOTOUT games. Lost 2 of 3. They lost games against Montreal and New Jersey and won against Florida. The last game (New Jersey) was killer. Up 6-3 in the third period, almost a sure win right?!? WRONG!!! End up losing the game in the shootout. What the hell was up with that?? Did anybody catch that game. KILLER!!!!!

And so we are on to game 6 of the season tonight against Calgary. That pretty much sums it up for now...

Tonight was an amazing game against Calgary! Sundin is a god amoung men...he scored a shorthanded, over time goal that won the leafs the game. Oh and did i mention that it was his 3rd goal of the game? AND HIS 500th CAREER GOAL? WOW!

DAMN! Another shootout loss to the Rangers. Do we suck that bad in the shootout? We need a sniper/pure scorer.

They always choose the same guys for a shootout. Leave Sundin in there but do a total mix of the other players! It's worth a try.

What seats did you have? Section 119 or 108? What row?? Did you have Platinum Club Access??

Why are you happy with a Sens win? Dont tell me you're an Ottawa fan.....

Section 118, Row 13, Seat 11! It was Gold, and yes I am an Ottwaw fan, but I have a reason! I was born in Ottawa, I'm not one of those traitors with good taste.

Man, Ottawa gave the Vile Weeds a good beating tonight, 7-2. Oh well, Golden Horseshoe fans need not worry, the Buffalo Sabres are 10-0-0 and have tied the best start to an NHL season.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the Red Wings are doing just as good as the Leafs (although I personally think Detroit has a better team).

Thanks but they lost in the world series to the Cardinals. Quite frankly, considering the MISTAKES the Tigers made, they didn't deserve to win the World Series, although this team does have a future, and should be proud of themselves, from the worst team in the league three years ago with 119 losses, to within 3 games of a world series championship, not too bad.

Oh yeah, CHARA SUCKS! He's an overgrown STATUE!
