both are from greek / roman architecture so i thinkts kinda wrong calling it american. Europe shold have the credit

Yes but the roof resembles the US Capitol in Washington.

That's a really cool structure. The differences of facade and materials are used well.

It does, and it looks strange too. There are condos in the North York part of Toronto that are modelled after Chrysler Building too.
