Good. I don't think I've seen this type of info board in other Chinese airports.

I don't like those curvy ribbon like supports at all, doesn't even blend with the overall style of the terminal.

I mean, the flight info screen display is better than that in other Chinese airports, the color/font/resolution etc. It's just like the board in US and other big international airports. Most Chinese domestic airports are still using the old style info board now.

BTW who knows what the official name of this airport is? It reads as "Wujiaba International Airport" in this thread but the above boards says "Changshui International Airport" (昆明长水国际机场)

It will be Kunming Changshui International Airport.

BTW is it true that this airport won't have a rail connection to the city center?

I find that hard to believe, when you consider that they build this airport from the scratch and that it will have the second largest terminal building in China (larger than any of Pudong's terminals).

The metro to airport is under construction. It'll open in 2012 though it may not open at the same time with the new airport.

Wujiaba Airport is the old airport which Kunming using now,Changshui International Airport is a NEW international airport of Kunming,when it opens,the old one,Wujiaba will be closed.
