Yes, I think you're right Gheorge, they must have been the villa kitchens but the photos have now been removed. Either way, they werent the kitchens from the apartments advertised and thats a fact.

Is the BC contactor the same as for theTorch? If so, no wonder the pace of construction seems to be picking up - there will now be a lot of spare staff they can pull of one site to work on the other!

Been like that for a while Beppe. Little will get done during the day due to the heat so you would expect more at night. Ramadan is just around the corner in august heat, so don't expect to see much difference by September time. By that time most people will have theie handover likelyhood question answered.

BTW, there was no night work on the hotel building either when I was over in June.

Did anyone who has been inside recently, notice just how far up the buildings the fit out had progressed. Kitchens and bathrooms installed to what floors? From the outside it is difficult to determine how much has been done inside.

After Ramadan the temperatures will start to back off and they will be able to go at it hammer and tongs without the need for a/c. But will they?

You'd have to see inside... ManU and I visisted the Torch around Nov last year,, 9 months ago.. At that point, the Torch was more finished than Bay Central is today..

Still think to complete works on the two towers, 9 months..( At least)

(True Blue is right about the weather conditions) We have summer hours and ramadan to contenf with..

But I can't see handover until tower 3 is done,, due to the tower crane over hanging the center tower.

Safety is clearly a critical consideration but aren't the cranes being used on the hotel derrick style ones not typical T shaped tower cranes being used on residential towers so that their horiz reach is not that far? Also the recent pics on your SSL site show quite a gap between the hotel and central tower.

also isn't much of the outside work been done ie more to do but aren't we towards the end of this work and this could be finished by say Nov/Dec 2011? Presumably work can go on inside during August with A/C or blowers?

I would think that handover would be over a few months starting with lower floors first with a bias towards the West Tower. I beleive that there are more lifts per apartment in BC than the Torch which will help handover.

It would be very helpful to know how much of the internal work has been done because this is likely to be on the critical path.

i agree with 234sale here. this wont be handed over for at least 7-8 months, and it could even take longer. having the hotel there under construction will complicate things when it comes to certifications and approvals.
