WOW, looks just like the Point.
Same kitchen units, wardrobes, sink, bathroom fittings,
And if I am not mistaken, the same black tape on the glass on the balcony.
Select and DCE do not get any better.

Sorry to say but the standard delivered is NO better than The Point & Torch.

I do not have polished floor tiles in my Torch unit in any room and I do not have mosaic tiles in any of my bathrooms. I have the same crap tiles in all bathrooms and the kitchen. I agree everything else is the same but not the tiles. Perhaps we have different specs in our Torch units ?? I would swap my Torch spec for this spec anyday !! Just for ref I was majorly dissappointed with my property when it was finally delivered.

Some of the pictures are from the higher spec'd podium villas, which DS conveniently failed to point out!!

I found out that it is quite easy to strip out a row or a few vertical strips of tiles and replace them with mosaic. Does well to break up the sea of beige and avoid a complete retile job.

BTW the perfect tool for the job is a JLM Exakt Saw. Cut along the edge of the tile just inside the grout line then rake out the grout and you wont break any other tiles when you chisel them out. You can also use it on ceramic floors retrospectivley to cut in a feature or border.

That's true TB, it does not take alot of effort, its just the getting started hey !! Its a shame that these little things were not done in the first place as we are only talking a couple of £££ extra, but every £££ saved is extra profit !!!!!! Anyway, BC internals certainly looks a little better that what Select have delivered before, save for Botanica. Changing kitchen door fronts easy enough too and will make massive transformations.

Correctamundo and those villas are a cool Million Pounds so you would expect a half decent kitchen, tiles and fixtures and fittings.......What I find interesting is that some floors in BC have upgraded fittings compared to the rest, whats this about?

Have you been inside your apartment and made sure that you indeed have polished floor tiles and mosaic tiles in the bathrooms?
It appears to me that the photos taken showing the good stuff is from the penthouse.

Yes indeed I have been in the property many many times and not a mosaic tile anywhere. I have beige wall tiles floor to ceiling and the same on the floor, except the ensuite master when i have beige wall tiles and even poorer grey floor tiles the same as the kitchen floor. The flooring though the rest of the property is ceramic tiles in 40 cm x 40 cm and 40 cm x 20 cm in a pattern. Are you saying my unit is not even the same spec as other units in The Torch ?? nothing suprises my anymore..... I know this is a Torch discussion and we are in the BC thread, but for comparison purposes.

I bought mine in Makro in the UK. Although there are plenty of sellers on Ebay selling them and spare blades. Think the model number of the one I have is EC310N. Cost me £48 so shop around as they can retail up to £90.

when you look at Bay Central at night you will notice that it gets lit up pretty strongly by a bright ACL flash light from one of the JBR towers hitting the top third of the tower.

looks very annoying to me. unbearable.
