doubt it, if its anything like the venetian then they are miles behind inside probably trying to figure out why the canal inside is leaking onto the casino floor The main venetian tower looked finished nearly a year before it opened but inside they were not ready to open in time.

mirage is still a great hotel despite being nearly 20 years old at this stage. without mirage there never would have been a venetian or palazzo. of course without flamingo there would never have been a mirage

any word on the mirage volcano???

...to be honest is a bit old style, isn't it? As it was designed beginning '900..Why they decided for this shape?

The Two Way Hard Three blog at Rate Vegas is reporting that the Palazzo will not have hotel rooms ready on December 28th as originally planned and they will be putting up guests in other hotels. It's not known if the casino will be ready either.

Yeah, I confirmed it with a reservationist... They simply aren't ready and won't commit to a date, at least they wouldn't with me.

I'm going to be there at the end of this coming week and I'm hoping I'll get to see the inside.

It doesn't look that tall.
I personally don't like this kind of buildings, but this one seems to have a quality cladding.

There were also too many images from AccessVegas.com from November so I'll just linkify the gallery instead.

Now vtat is saying it won't open at all until Dec. 31.
http://www.vegastodayandtomorrow.com/updates.htm

That will be insane on New Year's eve. There will be 400,000 people down there. Think I'll wait until later the next day to check it out.
