They say it will be open late this year, which I find hard to believe.

Yes, if you are gambling you can have free drinks.

Really impressive. That's definitely the first of the megahotels that really looks like a skyscraper. Everytime I was in Vegas I couldn't believe that the hotels were really that high, because the height-width ratio makes them look much shorter than they really are.

Do you have any recent photos showing this buidling from the Stratosphere Tower?

Don't have Stratosphere but another member posted some excellent photos taken during his departure from vegas, at roughly the same height from the south.

great photos! MAN this got tall fast, I quite like it! far prefer it to the Trumps going up in Las vegas!

Las Vegas is the only place in the world where this tower would look good!, and it does so very well!

Nice photo -- do you think that is Steve's car? Checking out the competition? License: "wynn 1".

I personally don't see Sheldon has a huge innovator, he's not exactly as creative as Wynn, but the product still is fair.

Las vegas deserves some supertalls to attact more tourists. Many cities in this world are catching up to replace it as the world Casino Kingdom.

That is one of his many cars he also has several Bentleys for major highrollers. The area its pulling out of is the Tower suits section but im not sure if that one is his or used for highrollers.

I think that might be the Venezia tower they were talking about. It's built on top of an above ground parking garage. The Palazzo is built on top of an under ground parking garage.

I think the core has topped out. Drove by and there are no more forms around the top. And the steel is almost as high and the ends of the wings have the set back at the top seen in the model.
