Gotta love the poll on the Sheffield Stir website today:

"Should the Government devote more money to the police?"

It's in relation to the news that 106 jobs will go in South Yorkshire Police, to be replaced by civilians. 75% currently say yes, but what a fucking leading question! Unless the question is the like of "should more money be made available for killing babies?" or "should more money be made available to buy clubs for killing baby seals?" the of course people will vote yes, but ask "Would you rather these 106 paper-pushing bobbies earning £33k were replaced by civilians earning £20k, allowing almost £1.4m to give your kids a good education/cure your mum's cancer/fix potholes/lower bus fares?" etc, would the result be quite so emphatic? Idiots!

Just put link to Main thread, and how about

If we had a mod they could just be locked straight away, with polite redirect link.

Occasionally 2 get started at "same time" by mistake, or when things have dropped down to page 3 plus.

De La Salle Sheffield. Yorkshire and Derbyshire league. I think you play in the South Yorkshire league don't you? Seem to remember you mentioning playing for/against Bradfield?

Ye play for sheffield UTD. our teams are in the sheffield, south yorksire and yorkshire premier leagues.

i'll always be english and ill always have my yorkshire accent, im too proud to give it away

by the way its maori lol there's no "s" in the maori language. Maori mean a single person and maori also means the entire race, or just lots of them, if that makes sence

My girlfriend is maori but she hasnt got tattoos on her face and her tree carrying abilities are pretty weak lol
