Ive just remembered for the first time whil ive been on. Been meaning to mention it since last november. Theres a new Travelodge, holiday inn thing being built at the side of meadowhall on Meadowhall road leading to the northbound sliproad of the M1. (tinsley viaduct) its 5 storeys high made of wood and steel and a small concrete core. It been under construction since last september but a lot of ground work was required because it used to be a scrapyard and a car dealers.

I walk past it every day and constantly forget about it. Theyre adding a floor to the old amicus building across from it aswell but amicus moved out after the flood.

Yes forgot about that one, it was held up whilst they argued about the rail line being reserved or not for some scheme to extend / re use the old line. Marshall from West Yorkshire are doing it i think you can just see it when you go round the north island at J34 M1 and turn up the slip road. That was also the one we discused if it was the Bawtry hotel that was actually at the end of the Airport link road by the parkway / marshalling yard, that Hella (Kyle) posted the photo of.

Oh, are they doing something (positive) to the railway line there then? I hope so.

Reopening Attercliffe and Brightside Stations would be a start

I took the lazy rout and drove round as you can park up on Sunday, jump out and grab a few quick shots. A bike would be better.
The light was a bit mixed with the showers
Tried to get a few that have been missed

Forgot to get the Blind institute and Merlin Garden streets big hole.
Did most of St Vincents the other week, so went for the ones missed. Only done about 150 this weekend few more Chesterfield ones to put up.

This is the second time in about five minutes I've clicked on a unintentionally hilarious link- oh dear

(The other one was the article about Velocity posted elsewhere- has to be read to be believed)

EDIT: Ah yes, here's the Velocity article in all its glory - http://www.sheffield-central.com/velocitytower.htm
