I'm new in here, and I don't understand, how to do this. It is for me a little complicate.

Thank you! I'm trying my best, but my left knee hurts after walking a few hundred meters. I think I'll restrict my next trip to Újpalota or Angyalföld..but after reading BND's post,I think I'll leave that for him.

You are right, but being second, I find it good, because I'm on the top. And where there are two, there will be more.

I made some photos during my walk from the Árpád-bridge bus station, until Nyugati square... My goal was to shot some pics of the planned, u/c, newly built, and earlier built office complexes of Váci avenue... IMO the Váci avenue was ugly all time in its long history, but now what its turning into, its worse... I mean, how it looks now...

BTW: I'm not a photo expert as You will see, so I would really appreciate if You guys could give me advice, what to do with my camera to make better photos. Not so grey...

Here we go!

Getting of the bus at Árpád bridge... (Still 69 days to go to get my driving license back... )

My bus, with the Árpád-bridge Volánbusz busstation, and BND's neighbourhood...

You will see, how mixed "style" the Váci avenue has...

Just after the overpass of Váci avenue, this old warehouse operated as a "Shopping House"...

...which hopefully will be turned into...

...GTC Renaissance Plaza on the Váci ave:

Crossing Váci avenue... Daredevil action... Even at a green light...

Office building of MÁV Cargo...

Its around 15:20... No wonder the traffic is so acceptable...

Phase 1 just finished. The Átrium Park office complex of Wallis Zrt.

Uglyest of all... Duna Office Tower...

Váci 33 office building at Dózsa György avenue subway station... Not my favorite...

Opposite of Váci 33... U/C Capital Square Office Complex...

Future:

Current status:

Commie style HQ, of the Water Company of Budapest:

Looking back... Its more like summary...

Part II. From Dózsa György avenue subway station till Lehel square subway station.

Looking ahead...

And looking back again...

And suddenly! OH SH*T! WHAT DA' F*CK IS THIS?!?!?

Is it Disneyland?

No!

Is it the Palace of Wonders?

No?

Than what da' f*ck is this?!

Its just Lehet-market...

HQ of Generali...

That is not the Lehel market but the first Hungarian Star Destroyer, the flagship of our space fleet
Anyway IMO it is much better from inside, not to mention how better it is than the old Lehel market.

Welcome here, tunderke!

Part III. The most interesting part, from Lehel Square until Nyugati square...

This is the place were the future Westend II. extension take place...

This bridge (Ferdinánd bridge) will be turned into a tunnel is everything is going the way the Governmental District is planned...

Future Westend II.

flats, offices, shopping mall, conference center...

This is the place where cities are shaped, districts are born... THE HEADQUARTERS OF MR. DEMJÁN AND TRIGRÁNIT GROUP. Westend shopping mall in the background.

WestEND City Center on Váci Avenue (on the left, other office buildings on the right):

The opposite side:

Arriving to Nyugati square...

The "famous" underpass at Nyugati...

Sorry for the double post, but I started to post the photos in BND's thread, but soon I figured it would fit better, here in the BUDAPEST 2 thread...

I think we should ask a mod to rename these 2 threads and add an "56k warning" sign to them.
