Love this building. Don't know why, but it really does look absolutely massive in all the photos. Sure it's tall...but it looks like a supertall. Maybe it's just me

you are not the only one, beekman has that effect to look taller then it actually is. plus this tower has the highest roof in lower manhattan right now, no wonder it stands out. also, beekman's location near the waterfront makes it look tall and massive. the final height is probably about 900ft.

That's just some town way outside the city, isn't it?

Here's the history of the street, Beekman place

"is named after the Beekman family, an influential family in the development of the city. The neighborhood was the site of the Beekman family mansion, Mount Pleasant, which was built by James Beekman in 1765. James Beekman was a descendant of Willem Beeckman for whom Beekman Street was named."

Nothing about it is ugly IMO. I love the wavy metalic facade, the size of it is perfect, and It look kinda futuristic and sexy from every angle its rediculous

Please tell me you're kidding. The only thing nicer about the Bow is it's name since "Beekman" is kind of a nerdy name. Other than that, Beekman kicks the Bow's ass.

Whoa... The cladding just looks insanely complicated... Not a single piece appears to be
the same and most windows seem to be placed at different angles. But still, it simply looks
so elegant and pretty...

Congrats NY
