@HK999, do you know where it would rank when it's finally completed? I'm thinking somewhere around 130-150?
i guess somewhere in the #120 range. the 100th tallest building is currently ~260m tall. but till beekman is finally finished i'm sure we'll see many buildings ranking much better. as i said it all depends on the completion date.

They're taking down the elevator really quick. Externally it's almost finished!

Why do people dislike the flat side so much? I love the flat side!

I view the flat side as a homage to classical New York, whilst the ripples indicate the vibrancy and future to the new New York. A perfect and seamless blend to me.

I don't mean this as a negative because I really like this new tower but it's metal curvy facade could have moulded nicely into a spire rather than the flat top. Older New York was ( is ) famous for it's spired towers and this could have been a new addition...........?

That building is so surreal that half the pics look computer generated.

At first: Sorry for my bad english.

The design is amazing, but i hate this color.
Why gray? Why not clorful?
Most in the city's is gray, but i think that's (especially in the winter) very depressing.

This Building for example have the perfect mixture of design and color I think

Building at the central station of Salzburg (Austria)

Every time, when i pass the central station I'm happy, because of this colorful building.

So if the architects in New York would build more colorful skyscrapers, the people there will be much more happier when they go to work.

Someone is color-blind. It looks like the 60's exploded into the 70's during an Austin Powers shag-a-thon! In 3D.
