I totally agree. When you are standing close to it, it looks like it is around 1000 ft. tall.

Folks were always trying to say this one was over 900+ feet. I always wondered if that's the case, why wouldn't a developer reveal the true height. Looks like they were all along.

I'm still a little bummed, 890 is better than 870.

i'm telling you, the beekman still has that effect to look taller than it actually is. it's quite funny that people who have seen beekman in person (including me) think it could be easily a supertall, especially when viewing upwards the flat side.

haha, maybe! But the flat roof works fine with the tower's body! A spire or roof feauture would look wrong on the beekman.
